This had the basis for a really good story... but as it was, it was rushed. Too rushed. I didn't even have time to get to know the characters. The whole story lacked any depth.
But this was meant to be a short story, it was meant to take the reader on a quick ride, and it delivered that.
I only wish that Ms. Snow would have slowed down a little, fleshed out a bit more of the characters, put this story idea into a longer book. So since I seem to be on the fence about it all, i'll split the difference and give it a 3 Star rating.
