Great story that kept me absorbed and reading.

I did feel, towards the end, that things were a bit rushed, making some things not plausible, but that truly was overlooked because of the heart of the story.

Loved the characters, well, except for Rooster of course. What a sorry excused for a man! What kind of man would put his wife up for collateral to a rival MC, just to make a deal he never intends to honor? And right before turning his wife over he tells her that he never loved her.. Rooster is that kind of man.

Violet:

Violet seemed really sweet. She's Rooster's "Old Lady", and she really does try to continue loving him, even after he's turned into the worlds biggest jackass. Rooster has one thing in mind and that's running the Devil's Army, the MC that Violet's father helped to start, and running it *his* way. When Violet is given to the Satan's Sons, she is told that she is there to cook and clean, to be a "house mouse". She wasn't happy about it, but was resigned to her fate. She fell in easily with the rival MC.. that was a bit hard to believe at first, but as I got to know Violet, I could understand it.

Drifter:

Home from his last tour with the military, for good, he gets back into the club life, falling back into his place. He and Cherish have a "thing".. it's complicated and gets a lot more complicated once he sees Violet!

Cherish:

This girl just gave me all kinds of bad vibes, little sweet butt with an attitude, and a misconception.

Stephanie:

She seemed sweet, kind, and helful. She was accepting of Violet and seemed to respect her for the "Old Lady" that she was.

The other "Old Ladies":

Oh I loved them! They were very kind to Violet, even though they didn't have to be, (they also) respected her as an Old Lady of a club President, even though it was a rival club, they knew that she was there under duress.

The other "Brothers":

I really enjoyed the Satan's Sons, most of them were true to their club, their women, and each other. I'd love to read more about them, and I hope this will turn into a series.

Violet and Drifter are pretty hot together. Fun to get to know these characters, all of them actually. I felt connected with them. There were some pretty good twists, some were predictable some were not. So even though I felt the ending was a bit rushed, this was still a very enjoyable read.
