"Some in the club had old ladies or girlfriends who were quiet and did whatever they were told, but that wasn't Ash's style. He wanted to respect his partner, not just have a shadow that followed him around silently."

What a story! This book was a pleasant surprise. I was just looking for something quick to read over my morning coffee, and this Novella fit the bill. It grabbed me and reeled me in from the first page, and two cups of coffee later and I was trying to catch my breath.

Eve is a investigative reporter trying to find her one big story that will help her get noticed and be the big break, not to mention help her to keep her desperately needed job. Eve's grandmother is in a retirement home, but Alzheimer's has set in and she needs to be moved right away. Eve's finances are bare bones at best. So getting this story would be quite helpful all the way around.

Ash meets pretty Eve at a biker bar, rescuing her from a brother, that is in desperate need of a bath, shave, and toothbrush, and is aptly named "Rancid". After getting rid of "Cid", Ash takes a seat and gets to know a bit more about Eve.. finding out that she's a reporter with a million questions. But, poor Eve is pretty much tongue-tied when it comes to the handsome and ooooh soooo sexy biker dude!
Things go pretty easy for this couple, he's an Alpha Biker, and she's no pushover. But they click, and even though this book is a novella, I actually *felt* that click with these two.

One major compliment to this book is the sex scenes. They were definitely HAWT, but they were well placed. The story was built on the characters and what was going on in their lives, the sex was a bonus, which made me appreciate this story that much more.

Really enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to continuing this series to see where Ash and Eve go next!

4 *Sociopathic* Stars

Oh. This. Book. This deliciously twisted, mind-twisting-bending-fucking-blowing book!

I have to admit, in the beginning, I was a little skeptical that this book would fly for me. I wanted dark, but what I seemed to be getting was a lot of (what I thought was) unnecessary world building.

And then...

This book took off like a rocket and went right through the stratosphere, and all I could do was grip my Kindle and hang on for the ride.

Knox
- what a twisted up sociopathic walking package of man candy he is.

"It entertains me to watch you think I care what you want, that I actualy care anything about you at all. It amuses me to manipulated your emotions, to see how much I can give you before I rip it all away again."
With one hand, Knox giveth... but it's with *both* hands, and whatever happens to be in his hands, that he taketh away.

Knox is a hit man for his adoptive father, Yuri, and he enjoys nothing more than carrying out the "exterminations" that Yuri needs from him. Slowly killing each mark in the most horrific way. Each done the same, slowly and methodically, with the lullaby humming through his lips.

Lacey
- Eighteen year old, high school, prostitute, in denial.

"He delights in tormenting me, but I now bask in that torment, I crave his brutality more than I crave the gasping breath I take in to fill my lungs."
Lacey relizes how sick and twisted Knox is, but even though he tells her she has a choice, she doesn't really, she's made a deal with the devil, and there is no backing out now.

Just when she thinks things can't get worse, she finds that they can. Very much so.

Katia
almost as twisted as Knox. But. Not. Quite.

"...it's the Christian thing to do. That's who I am. That's what I've based my public image on. My faith and my humanitarianism have made it possible for the public to love me, to trust me, to see nothing else but what i choose to show them."
Oooooh... I don't like this chick! She's around just enough in the book to mess with your head. The secrets she has, from everyone, including her father, make her the worst kind of sociopath.. the kind that are hiding right in front of your face.

I ended up loving this book, the dark turn it takes and keeps going straight into the deepest, darkest, most sinful kind of dark. This author really "brings it", and I SOOOO can't wait for the next book!

Nila. She loves Jethro. It's as simple and as totally messed up as that. She wants to hate him, she wants to kill him right along with the rest of his family. But she sees something redeemable and vulnerable beneath the ice cold exterior that he puts on day after day. She sees it melt when he takes her body. Or is she imagining it. How can she love this ice cold prince of darkness that has stolen not only the only life she ever knew, but also her heart.

But she knows the real Jethro is there, under all the secrets and ice. She knows he feels something for her. It may not be the love she hopes for but she's willing to do anything to help him, and to prove to him that he can trust her, and to show him that she loves him.

Jethro. This man is twisted up. Family one one side, Nila on the other. Choosing his family means he'll inherit everything, and perhaps get to keep Nila, and put an end to the Debts altogether. If he chooses Nila he loses everything, money, family, and Nila, because his family will call the debts due and Jethro will have no choice.

When Jethro tells Nila they are well and truly fucked, he means it. There is no way out.

All the while, Vaughn is working in the background. Will it work in time? Can he free his twin, or will all his work to save her only make it worse on her.

The Second Debt is coming and there is no way to stop it. The only hope is to go through with it. There is no choice. Neither Jethro or Nila can stop the Second Debt. It's been this way for 600 years. It's horrific and it'll take your breath away, literally.

Can Nila survive it? Can Jethro? Will it destroy the love Nila has found in her heart for Jethro? So many questions, and the only way to find out is to open this book start the march toward the Second Debt.

I'd advise you to have an oxygen mask handy, because the Second Debt will truly and completely take your breath away, in a hundred different ways.

Again, this book is rated a 4.6 but rounded up to 5 Star.

Lets see, this time Nila's core didn't play as much of a significant role as it did in my review of First Debt, but it did get a work out.
Sound echoed and shot straight to her core. It clenched, twisted with desire, had spasms of desire, and just flat out spasmed while greedily latching on to words, it contracted, sucked, and melted. Talented core!

There was more clenching, and nasty fingers probing it, and mouths close to it.

Her talented nipples even joined in as they sent even more clenching signals to her core. Her core was full of furious desire, and things gushed and pushed into her core.
Maybe not as much of a significant role, but it did stay on stage! Will Nila survive long enough to face the Third Debt? Will her core? Stay tuned!

**Don't take my bashing of Nila's core to heart, I love the series and looking forward to more of Nila, Jethro, Kestrel, Jaz, Vaughn, both daddys and even Daniel the most screwed up little brother in history... oh and yes, even Nila's core!

I'm not really sure what to say about this book. I struggled for the first 25%, then it did pick up for me. By the end of it, I was really just ready for it to be over.

And it ended in a cliffhanger.

Really? This book could have totally been wrapped up start to finish in one book.. and in less pages than this one was.

"The worst monsters are the ones that don't look like monsters, because they fool you into complacency with their beauty."
Elliot was just a nutcase. A totally whacked out nutjob. But I have to give it to him, he knew what he wanted, and nothing stopped him from going after it. He was a man of patience when it came to Joan.

He was obsessed. He truly believed that he was in love with Joan, and tried to make her believe she was in love with him.

Joan was an even bigger nutcase! Elliot kidnapped her, raped her, beat her, and wasn't the least bit kind to her. But she kept making herself available for more. One minute she hated him and wanted him dead, the next she was more than just a little turned on by just the thought of him. Her selfishness and indecision; flip flopping around like a fish out of water, caused pain and anguish to almost everyone in her life in some fashion.

This book had it's moments too, of really keeping me on the edge of my seat, there were parts that were dark and pretty scary, wondering what was going to happen next. The sex was dark and graphic, which usually I love, but it went on and on. I found myself skimming a lot of the sex scenes to get to the really good stuff. But it was those "edge of my seat" moments that bumps this book up to a 3 Star rating.

5 *Mind-Has-Been-Fucked* Stars
Pepper Winters... what a tangled web you've woven for us!

Jethro and Nila. They have feelings for each other, but the problem is, those feelings, on the surface, change moment by moment, and under these circumstances, feelings of *any* kind, are dangerous. To them both.

Nila wants to hate Jethro. Jethro is suppose to hate Nila. They fight, ohhh how they fight, and let me tell you, no one writes "angry sex" like Ms. Winters!

Nila fights the feelings she has for Jethro. Everytime he shows her just a little bit of humanity, he snatches it back, becoming the epitome of an ice king. He slips into that role so well. But Nila sees the cracks and the fissures, and no matter how much she wants, and needs, to hate him for what he's doing to her, it's the light that shows through those fissures that she is slowly but surely falling for. She knows there is goodness in him, wrapped up in a dark, black, coldness. Her mission, is to find a way into his soul... and use it against him, before the price of the final debt becomes due and payable.

Her mind tells her one thing, but her heart and soul tell her something completely different. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for Nila, Jethro is having the same problem, the same thoughts. It's just not easy for him to show her. Worse than that, it's dangerous for him to show her.

In this book, we experience the "First Debt"... time for repayment. I know it was suppose to be harsh and cruel, but I confess that, for me, it was H. O. T. HOT

The one thing that Nila wants from Jethro, because she knows it's a way in to his frozen heart, is a kiss. She demands it, cries for it, begs for it. She knows, of all the things they could, and would do, it was the most intimate.

Kiss me. Kiss me. Kiss. Me.

Vows are made, vows are broken, along with the shattering of hearts. The First Debt is even better than Debt Inheritance, which I also enjoyed.

My only complaint, and it's not really even that, about this series is the overuse of the word "core".

Nila's core is throbbing, fluttering, shuddering, cramping, clenching, trembling from abuse, and flickering with desire.

It's twisted with wetness, builds with wetness, and grows with wetness..

It's warm, sparking, had fire-bolts hurled at it, and had intense heat billowing from it. Is her core a tiny pyromaniac? Maybe all the wetness it experiences could help out in that area?

She had fingers probing it, jerked from it, brushing it, tugging it, exposing it, and spread like a tentative sunrise.

It's experienced melting, glowing, shivering, and it ripples.. a lot. Not to mention the invisible cords that seem to be attached to her core from her nipples.

And her core is insatiable. Well, you don't say!

That was just a little fun I wanted to have from first two books.. I'm sure there'll be more core rippling and throbbing moments for Nila in the next four books! If she keeps this up, she's going to have to have "core-o-plasty" by the end of it!

I'm totally twisted up in this series, absolutely loving it! I read the first two books in one day and I can't wait to see what'll happen next.. what will the Second Debt be? Which Debt will be the "Final Debt"? Will Nila's core continue to play a starring role? ;)

Oh. My. God. This book.

I have to admit, that I read one of Pepper Winters' other books and I wasn't really a fan, and I had put off reading this book/series, but after it being recommended to me numerous times, and friends on my group reading it and raving about it, I was feeling a bit left out! LOL So I decided to at least read this first book of the series.

And I couldn't be happier that I did!

"The time is nigh to pay your debts. Your past has found you, and there be no peace until she's ours."

The words spoken to a father by a man he hoped against hope would never come.

Jethro is there to collect the girl. The Weaver girl. The only girl who can pay the debt. Nila.

Jethro is the first born Hawk son, Nila the first born Weaver daughter. She belongs to him now. The debt has come due and payable. Again. Just as it's been done for the last 600 years.

Nila doesn't know what coming. But her father does, and there's nothing he can do to save his only daughter.

This book left me breathless. The emotions, the feelings of helplessness as I watched this story unfold.

Ms. Winters has totally gained a new fan! Thanks to all my friends that talked me into this book/series. I'm hooked!!

Review: Lucas (The Hunter Brothers, #1) by L.J. Dee

Lucas (The Hunter Brothers, #1)Lucas by L.J. Dee

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Overall rating: 3.6 Stars round up to 4

*****4 Hot Cobalt Blue Stars*****

Lucas... what a man! A hawt, dominant, alpha male. Yes. He is my, "new at this moment", book crush!

Lucas is the oldest of the Hunter Brothers, a no-nonsense, take the world by the balls and make it submit, smart, classy... and rich, man.

Jessica is a single mom to a 5 year old son. She and her sister live, and raise, Dexter together. She finally has a great job, and things are looking up. She "moonlights" helping out her sister at Elite as a server for private parties and it's at one of these parties that she meets Lucas. Her "Thunderbolt". Her love at first site though she'll never admit that.

While I really liked Lucas' character, Jess, drove me insane. Her wanting to be open, then shutting down. Every time Lucas tried to move forward, she'd take 3 steps back, while wondering why he didn't make her more than a 3 day a weeks lay. Jess was selfish and self centered a lot of the time.

Case in point. She, of course, wants the very best for her son, and when the very best is offered for him, she complains about how it effects her. At every turn she is whining. But, all in all, that's just Jess, and Lucas is actually able to take it and turn it to his advantage most of the time. She says "no", he finds a way to show her that "yes" is the better option.

Her back and forth, fence straddling, did get a bit old. But when it was the most important, Jess did step up and was actually there for Lucas when it counted the most, which had all sorts of redeeming qualities in my book.

The sex... OMG.. there was some really hot, sexy, sex in this book!

Lucas: "...we will be exclusive, embarking on a relationship that is underpinned by emmense trust, open communication and mutual respect."

Jessica: "It was the one part of being punished that I liked; no long drawn out apologies or self recrimimnation. It was 'wham-bam-it's over now ma'am there there was a lot to be said for it."

The Dominant/submissive aspect of the book. The author nailed it in almost all areas and I was really happy about that. Lucas was a strong Dominant that took training Jessica, and being her Dom, very seriously, while he was a Dom that normally played the submissive field, he gave Jess what he knew she needed. Exclusivity. Although it took her a while to trust that he was being faithful. Lucas was written as an upstanding Dominant and Jess as a submissive that was new to the lifestyle, and both, I felt, were written by someone that did their homework. (Thank you for that, L.J. Dee!)

Best line that made me laugh: "This was the shiny little cherry on a headfuck sundae..." I am SO going to find an opportunity to use that in conversation someday!

Most irritating overuse of a word. Flash, flashes, flashing, flashed. This descriptive term was used 37 times in this book. Flash(ing) eyes, smiles, across features, momentary, into mind, numbers, of fear, of jealousy, for a totally of 37 instances. The most overused in a phrase, "flashing eyebrows", flashing his, flashing hers, flashing his thick black brows. It's a great way to describe something, but it was just way overused.

Other than that, I really did love this story, flashing eyebrows and all! Loved Lucas and Jessica's overall relationship, enjoyed Chas, Charlie, and even Lucas's conniving little PA, Melody who wanted nothing more than to be rid of Jess and could be quite a bitch in her attempt to do so. She was the one I loved to hate!

I'm really looking forward to reading Roman and Chastity's story, and I hope to see a little of Lucas, Jess and Dex sprinkled in there too!

My first thought as soon as I finished this book...

I don't even know what to say about this book! It was different, but I loved it. It was confusing at times, but I loved it!

This was a book I couldn't put down, I had to keep going to find out what the next totally screwed up thing was that was going to happen. There were a lot of surprises in this book. Just when you thought you had it figured out, nope, it made a complete 180° turn.

The odd thing about this book, and I've seen it said in numerous reviews... half the time I had no idea what the hell was going on, and at the end... I still wasn't sure!

The preface says this, "If you are not a fan of erotic, dark and twisted romances, psychological thrillers, or complicated romances this story will not appeal to you." Well hell... color me there for that alone! This book was exactly that and more.

This book also deals with some very touchy issues, such as suicide. Not something I normally want to read about in my books, but the author tells those parts of the story very well.

The sex in this book was erotic and ohhh sooo hot! It was usually well placed, and made sense in the grand scheme of the story, but there were a couple of times that I was like.. "damn, they're going to have sex again", and I'd have to do a little skimming.

About skimming... this is not really a book you can or should do that with. You *will* miss something important. I spent a lot of time backing up and re-reading some things. It's like watching a thriller on TV, don't turn away for a moment.. or you'll miss something that could effect the whole plot. Yeah, this book was like that!

The characters in this book are all messed up in the head... not just the main character(s)... but every single character in this book is dark and twisted in some way.

This book was twisted, totally fucked up, and one mind-fuck after the other.

Did I mention I loved it?

Carnal Captive a.k.a. Carnal Days

Carnal Captive (Carnal Incorporated #1)Carnal Captive by Vonna Harper
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book was "iffy" for me.

The non-con genre is a dark favorite of mine and true to form the handlers, Damek and Reno, were pretty brutal. And it's not that, that turned me off at all, it was the dialog between them that drove me a little batty. I kept expecting them at any minute to end up in a little schoolgirl shoving match. It was penis waving at it's best. Their constant, "don't tell me what to do", and trying to one up each other got redundant. Hell, at one point I was wishing they try to beat the crap out of each other.

The story starts out extremely dark, which I really enjoyed. But even from the beginning the handlers were bickering with each other. I kept expecting our heroin to use that to her advantage in some way.

The time with the "handlers" was too long, almost 75% of the book. And all the "conditioning" and "training" they did that whole time, it started to feel like a yawn fest.

I felt for a while that I favored Damek of the 2 handlers, then I would surprise myself by favoring Reno. I really, after a while, felt they were both just trying to prove to the other, and themselves, that they were actually cut out for this business.

Shari Isle. I liked her. I liked that she refused to give up the last bit of herself, her mind. She stayed strong throughout. She did what she had to do to survive. I felt her fear when she was taken, the author described this quite well. And I always felt that giving half a chance that she would kill all of those in her path to freedom.

The time with her new master was too short in terms of the length of the book, and he was pretty wishy-washy. What the hell was he doing buying a slave when he couldn't even make up his mind about basic things like wanting her on the bed or on a chair. It just didn't feel real. Yes, I know he was trying to figure out in his head what the hell he was doing, but it came off very weak. And it was all so rushed. I didn't like the ending, the way it played out, at all.

While I enjoy a Stockholm Syndrome feel to my non-con at times... I was really glad this one didn't take that turn. It wouldn't have felt real, not with as strong as Shari was portrayed to be.

This book is dark and at times brutal, very non-con, and as mentioned, it's a favorite genre of mine. I would caution the casual reader who may not be used to dark reads to read at your own risk as it involves beatings, rape, degradation, and humiliation. If these are triggers for you, best leave this one alone.

2.5 - 3 Star read for me.

Carnal Days was originally published in Feb. of 2012 as Carnal Captive with a different cover. Vonna hopes readers won’t be confused by the changes Amazon is requiring based on recent developments in the epublishing world about what is considered acceptable. This book is still listed on Goodreads.com as Carnal Captive.

Goin' Once, Goin' Twice.... Sold!

The Auction
The Auction by Claire Thompson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another great Claire Thompson story! Some edgy BDSM and a love story all rolled into one nice little quick read.

Carly is down on her luck and pretty desperate, so she goes to the "Auction House" for a week of hard core training to become a "professional" submissive. At the auction, she is purchased by Adam Wise for $50,000 and he will own her for 30 days.

Contracts signed, sealed, and delivered, Carly goes home with Adam.

He's intense and at times pretty reckless with Carly and her safety. But underneath it all, he feels *something*, but continuously shoves it aside. She's a "paid submissive" there for his entertainment. A sex toy. Nothing more, nothing less.

She's sensitive, and wants to please him. She also feels *something*, and doesn't want to "shove it aside", she wants to explore these feelings, but he won't allow it.

I think the story, in the beginning, the "feelings of love" moved a bit too fast, but all in all, it worked in a way that only Ms. Thompson can make it work.

There is a part where Carly is locked in a box with Glory Holes.. she has a panic attack, and myself being very claustrophobic, felt ever bit of that. The author described it so vividly. There is also breath play/water play where she is put into a water locker. *takes a deep breath* It was all very descript.

I enjoyed this story very much and wish there was a sequel to it, much like I do many of the books written by this author.

Four stars!

Review: Pinch Me

Pinch Me
Pinch Me by Tymber Dalton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Get your tissues ready, Tymber Dalton does it again in PINCH ME!

I just finished the book this morning and OMG, I loved it! This book kept me on the edge of my seat 90% of the time and it kept me connected to the characters a connections I felt right away.

I felt Rob's pain over what happened to Laura, but when she woke up and didn't know him, his emotions came through in the written word like I was actually sitting there with him. And the way Laura kept reaching to her neck (for her day collar), and not understanding why she was doing so, that just broke my heart. Her turmoil at needing to remember, not just the attack, but her life (with Rob) also made me feel so much for this character.

I loved Rob and Laura, his commitment to her, to staying with her, no matter what, because he loved her with his whole heart. The way she felt "that connection" with him from the start, it didn't matter that she couldn't explain it, she *felt* it.

This was done in typical Tymber Dalton style, by grabbing me by the heart and squeezing every bit of emotion out of me. Just when I think I have no more left, she tightens the screws just a little bit more. I love that about this author!

The only part I questioned was when Laura came face to face with her stalker, she was alone in the shop to lock up and secure the boats before an incoming storm. Up to this point she'd never been alone in the shop due to this guy who almost killed her and was still stalking her. But, she "sent everyone home".. really? Steve would have left her? Carol? Sarah? That part wasn't plausible, whereas the whole book up to that point was carefully written. That part just made me go.. "Really?"

Figuring out the "who" in this story, was easy, too easy maybe. But, it was interesting to see how it all pulled together and played out. (Very well actually!)

I would classify this as a "BDSM Light" story, and surely light compared to the 2 previous books (that I've read in this series), but there is a real reason for that, and it works. I loved seeing past characters from The Reluctant Dom and The Denim Dom, and that Shay was her best friend. Even with all the interaction from previous (book) characters, they didn't overwhelm the story line to this book, they genuinely enhanced it.

I do hope there will be future books in this series and that we'll see more of Rob and Laura and some of the other past characters as we meet new ones!

Solid 5 star read!

Review: Slave World 2: The Ties That Bind

Slave World 2: The Ties That Bind
Slave World 2: The Ties That Bind by Johnny Stone

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay. Catching my breath! That. Was. Excellent!! Johnny Stone took the story of his first book in the Slave World trilogy so much further in this sequel, Slave World: The Ties That Bind, than I thought was possible.

This is a Science Fiction based story with elements of BDSM incorporated throughout.

Margo, as we know from book 1 of this story, is an anthropomorphic female. She was a woman that was enslaved and taken to Slave World where her DNA was altered along with her appearance. She now has the perfect body, the perfect face, perfect everything. She is given perfection, but at the same time has had everything taken from her.

Nathan, the love of Margo's life. The man she wants most in the world to be her Master. To use her as the submissive slave that she is. Nathan doesn't want to be that in her life. But he does try, for her. Because he loves her.

As Nathan and Margo are leaving the Slave World Ranch in search of Margo's ship that was stolen from her when she was kidnapped, even more treachery is afoot, and they are forcibly separated. I felt so much sadness for them. For Margo who lived and breathed for Nathan and for Nathan who wanted this woman in any and all ways. Again, the cruel hand of fate is not kind to Margo, which seems to be the story of her existence. She is again kidnapped and held against her will by someone that is even more evil and vile than Master Michael was in the first book.

But Margo has a very deep and dark secret, and it's this secret that she calls on in the worst of times. The secret within her that takes over and helps her survive. And I mean this in the literal sense of the word!

We get to meet new characters like, Sergeant Major James Wroth and Private Sandra "Snake" Fullerton, a.k.a. "Sandy". My two favorite fun characters! Wroth is a sexy and funny man, mostly sexy because he's funny! Sandy is a tough but broken woman who has demons of her own, but still finds time to throw some snarkiness right back at the man she loves to hate. When these two get together they are like dynamite with a very short, lit fuse. Anyone standing close is sure to feel the burn of sexual heat coming from these two. But they also work well together on this very important mission. I promise you'll fall in love with Wroth and his many "Wrothisms"! You'll also fall in love with how he and Sandy fall in love with each other.

And Cherise... sweet Cherise. She is Margo's caretaker for a while and then her friend. She is a sweet and kind self-aware AI, which can be a dangerous combination, but you come to believe that she's so much more than that.

There are other very interesting characters some you'll remember from the first Slave World, like Donna, Cirus, Ashley, and Donovan. There are some new and intriguing characters, and some will come as a surprise. There are other worlds, one, Eden, is full self-aware AI.

I absolutely, love, love, LOVED this book! It's a non-stop, can't put it down even if I wanted to, book. The characters are well written, the world building is so in-depth that you'll actually be able to visualize it as you read the words.

I can't go to much further in-depth in my review without giving away plot spoilers. This is one that you have to read for yourself to appreciate. And ohhh the best thing about the end of this story? It leaves you wanting MORE! And there is more to come in Slave World 3 which will conclude this trilogy.

Reading Slave World, the first book is a must before reading this sequel to get the background history on main characters in this carefully crafted world of extraordinary characters.

This book is another solid 5 star read for me!

Solid 5 stars!

*I have the continuous privilege to interact with the author in my personal life. With that said and even though I was involved on a daily basis as this story developed, and was written by the author, I believe this to be a true, fair, objective and honest representation of my opinion of this book*

Excerpt Excerpt Excerpt

I closed my eyes and tilted my head back, letting the hot jet of water beat against my face. God it felt good, the tension just seemed to flow out of me in a wave of relief down the drain. The multiple smaller jets oriented around the shower cubicle followed suit, pelting my body with a soapy mist. It had a neutral smell to it though – very mannish – it wasn’t even close to my normal fragrance. No big deal, I’ll just reprogram it later with something a bit more female friendly, something light and flowery. I’m sure Nathan will love that.

Nathan… I was going to have to do some serious butt kissing to make up for that outburst. I still don’t know what happened, one minute I was happy as hell to be flying again, looking forward to getting laid, and the next I was back in the cockpit of my Hornet 3 Interceptor evading fire. Things really got ugly after I returned to reality; I can’t believe I snapped at him like that.

The main jet of water dropped suddenly and I opened my eyes only to receive a blast in the face as it switched directions again, spraying up and over my head. I shrieked, covering my face with my hands when the other jets went crazy, attacking me. The main jet returned to a normal flow just as unexpectedly, and I stepped to the side eyeing it warily from between my fingers. “Piece of crap,” I muttered. We must have just cleared Slave World’s atmosphere and entered open space, and it always took a few moments for the artificial gravity to kick in and get the thing right again. Water on board ship was one thing that still never acted quite right; it would do strange things at times, moving this way or that, not sure which way to go. I seemed to have forgotten that little piece of information during my extended planet-side vacation.

Now that’s over… I took my place in the middle of the shower cubicle again, letting the steamy water blast my skin back into a rosy glow while I soaped up. It was therapeutic for me in a way, lathering up my tail, before moving on to my shoulder-length mane. After that, came my wonderful ears. I always washed in the same order, always. Not sure why, other than I did, like a simplistic ritual of compulsive leisure. And of course, once the more mundane parts were done it allowed me to move on to other areas, the parts I enjoyed washing more thoroughly than they really need most times. Since the first time I discovered sex as a young woman, I’d loved playing with myself, but after becoming a pony… My skin felt so soft and silky now, just like a baby’s butt, but everywhere. I’ll admit that enhanced collagen levels were an added bonus from my augmentation that I didn’t mind in the least.

Gentle, plump breast were the first to fall prey to my roving hands, and I pushed them together, enhancing my generous cleavage even more, while thinking about the last time Nathan tit fucked me. His dark pink cockhead thrusting up between them… his hand on my head, a fistful of hair, pulling my head forward… I opened my mouth… the warm splash of Master’s cum dribbling down my chin… I’d never been tit fucked before coming to Slave World – having a small chest kind of puts a damper on things like that.

The more I washed, with my hands gliding over flushed, slippery skin, the more I realized just how horny I was. My hunger for Nathan hadn’t gone away in the least with all the recent excitement, if anything, it had grown stronger. My nipples felt bloated with sensitivity, no different than my swollen clit. I gasped with an erotic shudder, as I leaned back against the shower wall, one leg cocked up and a hand between them. My pussy was in my palm, massaging my clit, seconds away from cumming on the two fingers that were knuckle deep within it. I was playing with myself again and didn’t even realize it.

I quickly pulled them out, nervously looking around, and took a deep breath trying to calm down while I finished rinsing. Good luck with that; my heart was pounding and my body felt like it was on fire. It didn’t take long; I was in a hurry, and I silently hoped Nathan wasn’t already in the bedroom waiting on me.

The dryer came next, buffeting me with warm gusts of air, and I ran my hands through my hair and tail to help the process along. I did sneak one last exploratory finger through my slit, smiling at how slick I still was. The shimmering finger vanished in my mouth with a heavenly moan. Mmmm… Sticky sweet sex candy, another wonderful result of my augmentation. Is it wrong to enjoy the taste of yourself? If it is, then I never want to be right.

Fantastic Follow-up!

Reaper's Legacy (Reapers MC, #2)Reaper's Legacy by Joanna Wylde
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally! A book with a strong heroin lead that isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, no matter how big the hero is! And Ruger is BIG! And he's intimidating and oh sooo sexy. I loved Sophie. She was refreshing and honest, a great mom, and best (or worst) of all, in love with Ruger!

I was so excited to hear that this book was finally coming out. I sat and devoured it in one day. I never do that, but this book was a page turner.

Oh! And the piercings! Ruger definitely had them from eyebrow to.. well.. yes even *there*! And he wasn't afraid to use a single one of them! And his tatts. Oh the tattoos and at the end when you find out what one particular tatt is, OMG I was stunned and fell in love with this sexy alpha male just a little bit more!

This book has it all, mayhem, murder, kidnapping, and love. It's a wild 90mph 2-wheel ride down a slippery mountain side getting to each of those, and the cherry on top of this wild ride is the fact that this book is sexy hot!

Outside of the main characters, Ruger and Sophie and all their hot sex, you have Noah, Sophie's son, who was fathered by Ruger's half brother, Zach. Zach is a dead beat dad and Ruger steps in to be the man in the boys life. Ruger loves Noah and the feeling is quite mutual. I loved that this hard ass biker, who is an arrogant, control freak, know it all (but really, in a hot sexy way!) could be such a wonderful father figure for Noah. That sealed the deal for me in my love of this character. Noah is the pint sized glue that holds the story of Ruger and Sophie together.

Sophie is living in a small run down apartment with Noah, a hard working single mom who is just trying to squeak out a living for her and her son. Zach, being the dead beat dad that he is, just stops paying child support, so there's no help there. She's moved hours away from Ruger, so he has no idea she's in such dire straits. Until a phone call from Noah who is frightened and scared at a new baby sitters house. The catalyst for Ruger and Sophie to begin their journey.

I enjoyed all the sub characters and plots in this book and can actually see openings for future books from some of them. We already know that Em and Hunter will have their own book, Devil's Game, which is up next. Would love to see a book on Picnic. And will poor Bolt ever get out of jail? You see quite a bit of Horse and Marie in this book too. Was nice to get a little bit of a fix from them!

So the big question was, can Ruger live up to a man called "Horse"? Ahhh, well now, you'll just have to run and get Reaper's Legacy to find out!

A solid 4 star read for me!

Johnny Stone Does It Again!

Steam & SpursSteam & Spurs by Johnny Stone

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb

The year is 1893 and Earth is a place of wondrous steam driven machines during the Victorian age of Imperialism. Spacecraft prowl the stars, colonizing alien worlds while battling the barbaric pirates of Mars. It’s a world where the Confederate States of America won the civil war, and the Republic of Texas finally gained its independence to stand alone as a sovereign country. It’s a time of leather and calico lace, of Techno music and perpetual motion technology, giving birth to twisted sense of far fetched dreams commonly known as Steampunk.

But there’s one man who lives life by his own terms, trapped in the past while thumbing his nose at modern society as he carves a place in history using nothing but a gun and his stubborn courage. He’s a war hero, an Indian fighter, a Texas Ranger and a bounty hunter; and his name is Johnny Stone.

Johnny is an outwardly gruff, old-west personality with a subdued code of rustic honor in an age that continues to pass him by with leaps and bounds. Throughout his life, he’s always had a knack for showing up at the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s a man with a seemingly charmed life and a haunted past, walking on the razors edge of danger and tempting fate more often than not as certain death passes him by again and again.

Rainia Morwin, Captain of the British luxury liner the Dreaming Star, is a Venutian Mistress with years of experience in dominating men. She’s a strong woman, with a mind as sharp as her tongue. But, she’s also a secretive switch, craving the wonderful bliss of a domineering male hand with the unwavering strength and persistence to take what is rightfully theirs from a woman, if they’re able. Her search for a new Master, a loving man that can fulfill the needs she so desperately craves again after so many years of dimming hope, is about to be found in an unlikely source.

This sultry novel is brought to you by the author of The Devil’s Dance. Steam & Spurs has something for everyone; suspense & suspension, sex & fighting, guns & whips.

Review

YES! YES! YES! Another five-star book from Johnny Stone! I've enjoyed everything I've read from this author, but this book was by far the best. It made me laugh, it brought me close to tears, it made me want to fight right along side the hero, and it left me panting for breath right along with the leading lady.

Set in 1893, Johnny is a rough and tumble bounty hunter from Texas, traveling, for the first time, in space, and he's not a bit happy about it. Yes, it seems like an odd time for space travel, but the way he the author spins the tale... it just works! Spacecraft and aliens are among us while colonizing other worlds and fighting the creatures from Mars. It's all the sci-fi erotic romance you can ask for between the pages of one book!

Johnny Stone is everything you imagine a man from Texas in the late 1800's to be. A gruff, single minded, gun slinger, who is, at times, down right ornery! He and "Horse" take off on a bounty hunt that takes him aboard the "The Dreaming Star" a good sized ship that is actually a passenger liner. It's suppose to just be a means to an end, to get to a connection to take him to Uranus, or as Johnny calls it, "Yur'anus", in search of his bounty.

Johnny has a secret from his past, one that is heartbreaking and actually explains who and why he is the man he is today. It will bring tears and make you smile at the strength of this man.

Captain Rainia Morwin is in charge of "The Dreaming Star" and it's not long before she sets her sexual sites on Johnny. Rainia comes from a planet where women rule and men do as their told, but she craves something different. She wants a man to control her. As luck would have it, Johnny might just be that man. Or is he? Can she really give up total control to a man?

Johnny and Rainia are, literally, from two different worlds, can they really make it work? Or will fate step in and decide for them if they should or shouldn't be together.

Don't miss reading this book. This author's imagination will captivate and entertain you. I promise you, from start to finish, it's an excellent read!

Be sure to watch for Johnny Stones forth book, Slave World, due to be released on January 6, 2012 by Pink Flamingo Publications. You can read a synopsis on the authors profile. Slave World

Misadventures in Infidelity - Review

Misadventures in InfidelityMisadventures in Infidelity by Johnny Stone

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great book! The Misadventures of Infidelity is broken into three stories, or memories if you will, in the life of Erin, who is a bit of a nymphomaniac and a bit of a tease. The fixes Erin finds herself in, are at times, comical and sometimes a bit scary.

We start out learning a little about Erin, her growing up years and how they shape her life as an adult. It is mentioned right off in the blurb "Erin is a slut and a tease". I'm not sure about a "slut", but she sure does get around! In the first short story, A Rude Awakening, we learn that Erin is married to a military man, Rob, who is away quite a bit. What's a girl to do when she needs a man and her man is no where to be found? Well, in Erin's case, you hunt up a ménage! Erin and her best friends, who are husband and wife, have a bit of bedroom fun and its Lights! Camera! Action! And Erin is more than ready for her closeup Mr. DeMille! as she has her first ménage with two men , while her friend video tapes, with running commentary, in the background. I won't give away too much from this short story, since it has a major impact on the rest of the book. Let's just say Erin very much enjoyed her three-way on the small screen, since she couldn't remember actually being there!

In the second story, Mr. Harley and his Unwanted Guests we find Erin reminiscing about the first time she made a conscious effort to have sex with a complete stranger. She ends up in a bar, during a wet t-shirt contest and catches the eye of hard working, blue jean wearing, motorcycle riding, Al, who was my favorite character that Erin meets up with. He is sex on two legs and has eyes for Erin. What more could a girl ask for? He rescues her after the wet t-shirt contest, from some over zealous males who, I suspect, would like to help her out of more than her wet t-shirt! He takes her away on his motorcycle, to his campsite, where he proceeds to show her how a real country boy works it!

In the third and final story, The Working Girl, Erin and her husband are having a bit of a financial crisis and Erin needs to look for work. Erin being Erin, you just know somehow she is going to hang a left into Sexville and a right, directly into Trouble Town! She has an interview with the haughty Miss Waters, who pretty much informs Erin she's not qualified to load the paper tray on a copy machine much less be a secretary. But wait! Miss. Waters does have a position open on her personal home staff. What luck! Erin is thrilled with the pay, and excited to start work, but where would the Misadventure be in something as simple as that? Miss. Waters, or Ma'am as Erin is instructed to call her, is a FemDom. Let the Misadventure begin!

This book has a very comical side to it; and each story has it's own unique twist which really keeps things interesting. The author shines in his ability to combine sex with the comedy of errors in Erin's life. This is a fun and quick read while curled up in your favorite chair on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's not to be missed.

Johnny Stone is the author of 2 other books, Steam & Spurs and The Devils Dance. You can read my review of The Devils Dance by clicking here.

Misadventures in Infidelity Released!

Misadventures in InfidelityMisadventures in Infidelity by Johnny Stone

Blurb

Misadventures in Infidelity is sexy string of stories revolving around a married woman’s untamed desires. Each story begins with a flashback, as Erin recalls her earlier days of infidelity. Erin Porter is a slut and a tease, she always has been. Nothing changed after she married, as she thought it would, except having a ring on her finger and a man who has no idea what she’s doing when he’s away from home.

In A Rude Awakening, Erin gets together with friends for a night of carefree and innocent partying when her husband is away. She wakes up the next morning to discover she had a wild night of raunchy, unprotected sex with two men. Too bad she doesn’t remember it. Lucky for her there is a video that shows what a dirty whore she really is.

During Mr. Harley and his Unwanted Guests, Erin makes a fledging effort to openly cheat on her husband, but hunting for guys isn’t as easy as she thought it would be. After meeting a rough and tumble biker at a strip club she’s convinced to enter a wet t-shirt contest with the promise of drinks if she loses. Things never work out for Erin the way she plans, and she gets much more then she bargained for, or was emotionally prepared to deal with.

In The Working Girl, Erin is unexpectedly offered the job of becoming a house slave and sexual pet to the rich and powerful Miss Olivia Waters. In her desperation for money she accepts, despite what her humiliating ‘duties’ will entail. Everything at her Mistress’ mansion seems to be going well, as Erin gradually learns her place as an obedient submissive, but when the striking Mr. Olan enters the picture, finally acting on his desires for her, things really heat up!

From the author of The Devils Dance and Steam & Spurs, comes an entertaining collection of stories that have something for everyone. Scandalous cheating, lesbian sex, anal and oral sex, threesomes and more!

Included: Oral sex, Anal Sex, Multiple Partners, Erotic Dancing, F/f, Lesbian Sex.
